  2. Well, it seems to be only OC'd on the first boot with the CPU DSDT from that link I put in my post.

Hmm, I used another mac and a sata to usb to hook up my hard disk to the mac to do the install, but if you still want a guide with that, I can help you..

Just let me know and I'll make a post of a short guide of how I did it :)

  6. Hi there, I don't think the DSDT will work with a 965, but, if you're okay with DSDT editing, you can take the cpu section from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=208724 and then add it to the DSDT that I have, and it should work. You should also use the DSDT from my latest post, which has the fixed eSata http://www.multiupload.com/HK92JI7AM4 Good luck :)

Had a bit of time, so here's a version I made for the 965 for you, give it a try:

  8. Hey Ken, I somehow stumbled across this blog/thread... I have the same sabertooth Motherboard, and an Intel core i7-960.

  9. Hi B.

For the onboard ALC888, I had the best results with VoodooHDA from http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=355 (version 261). The newer ones seems to create noise in the speakers, and I can't figure out why. You can give that a try, and hopefully it will solve your audio problems.

  10. Sorry, I meant ALC892, not ALC888 :P
